Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of SHOUT, operated by Melissa Crawford.
Eligibility
Payment-enabled SHOUT accounts are limited to users age 18 or older. Users must provide accurate account information and comply with applicable laws.
Marketplace
SHOUT connects businesses with independent creators who perform promotional services. Businesses set campaign requirements and creator compensation. Creators choose whether to apply. SHOUT does not guarantee that a campaign will receive applicants or that a creator will be selected.
Nature of the paid service
A business campaign payment purchases creator advertising services performed outside the app, such as visiting or featuring a local business, producing promotional media, and posting or delivering agreed promotional content for use on external social channels. A campaign payment does not purchase digital content for consumption in SHOUT and does not unlock app features or functionality.
Campaigns, payments, and payouts
Businesses authorize campaign charges through Stripe. SHOUT records funding status and holds the campaign workflow until creator work is completed and approved. Creator payouts are subject to successful campaign funding, completion and approval of required work, payout-account eligibility, refunds, disputes, fraud review, and Stripe rules. The SHOUT service fee is shown before payment.
Content and conduct
Users may not post unlawful, deceptive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, infringing, or otherwise objectionable content. Users may report content or accounts and may block other users. SHOUT may remove content, restrict accounts, or investigate reported activity.
Advertising disclosures
Creators are responsible for legally required sponsorship and endorsement disclosures and for complying with the rules of any external platform where promotional content is posted.
Account deletion
Users can initiate account deletion inside the app. Deletion may remain pending while an active payment, payout, refund, dispute, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligation is resolved.
