Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Melissa Crawford collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use SHOUT.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information: name, email address, account role, city, and authentication records.
- Profile information: creator handles, social-profile links, follower and average-view counts, biography, categories, availability, business name, business category, website, and business address or neighborhood.
- Marketplace activity: campaigns, applications, creator selections, deliverables, requirements, deadlines, reviews, reports, blocked users, and account notifications.
- User content: messages, profile photos, creator submission photos or videos, revision notes, reviews, reports, and support communications.
- Payment records: campaign amounts, payment and payout status, and Stripe transaction or connected-account identifiers. Stripe collects card, bank, identity-verification, and payout information directly. SHOUT does not receive or store raw card numbers or bank credentials.
- Device and usage information: session identifiers, optional Apple Push Notification tokens, security and audit records, and product interactions used to operate and improve SHOUT.
Location, camera, photos, and notifications
Location access is optional and requested only when a creator chooses to sort opportunities by current location. The device location used for that sort is not sent to or stored by SHOUT. Camera and photo-library access occurs only when a user chooses to select or capture profile or submission media. Notification permission is optional; if enabled, SHOUT stores an Apple push token so it can deliver account and marketplace notifications.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; display profiles; match businesses and creators; operate campaigns, applications, messages, submissions, reviews, reporting, blocking, and notifications; process campaign payments and creator payouts; provide support; investigate abuse, fraud, refunds, and disputes; comply with legal obligations; measure product reliability and usage; and improve SHOUT.
Who receives information
We disclose information only as needed to operate SHOUT: to other marketplace participants when a profile, campaign, application, message, submission, or review must be shown to them; to Render for application hosting; to private object-storage providers for user-uploaded media; to Stripe for campaign payments, creator onboarding, and payouts; and to Apple for optional push notifications. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, SHOUT, or the public.
No tracking or sale
SHOUT does not sell personal information and does not use personal information to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies. SHOUT does not use third-party advertising networks.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and marketplace information while an account is active and only as long afterward as needed to provide the service, resolve payments, payouts, refunds, disputes, safety reports, fraud or security incidents, and meet tax, accounting, or legal obligations. Retention length depends on the type of record and the unresolved obligation. Users can delete their account from Creator Profile or Business Account. When no active obligation remains, SHOUT disables the account, removes uploaded profile and submission media, and deletes or anonymizes personal profile data. Limited transaction, audit, and legal records may be retained when required, with personal fields minimized.
Your choices
You can edit profile information, decline optional location and notification permissions, block users, report content, sign out, or request account deletion inside SHOUT. If you cannot access the app, use the SHOUT account-deletion page to submit a deletion request. You may contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or another privacy request. Privacy rights vary by location.
Security
SHOUT uses HTTPS, access controls, authenticated sessions, restricted media access, and service-provider safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
SHOUT payment-enabled accounts are limited to users age 18 or older. SHOUT is not directed to children.
